Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 8 July 2026
1. About us
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Z-I-P website at z-i-p.co.uk and any pre-pitched camping booking or enquiry made through our website or by email. Z-I-P operates as The Pre-Pitched Pad Co. References to "we", "us", "our", and "Z-I-P" in these Terms mean Z-I-P, The Pre-Pitched Pad Co.
You can contact us at hello@z-i-p.co.uk.
2. Our service
Z-I-P provides a pre-pitched camping service at selected UK festivals and events. We pitch, furnish, and prepare your tent at the event campsite before your arrival. You are responsible for obtaining your own event tickets separately.
The tent, bedding, and optional extras you have selected will be in place at your allocated campsite position before the event opens. On departure, our team will break down and clear the tent after the event closes.
Tent availability at each event is limited. Securing a booking does not guarantee a specific pitch location unless we have confirmed this in writing.
3. Booking and payment
Bookings are made by contacting us at hello@z-i-p.co.uk or through our website contact form, or via any third-party booking platform we direct you to for a specific event. A booking is not confirmed until you have received written confirmation from us.
Payment amounts, timing, and accepted payment methods will be set out in your booking confirmation. Please refer to that confirmation, or contact us at hello@z-i-p.co.uk, for the payment terms that apply to your booking.
4. Cancellation and refunds
If you need to cancel your booking, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@z-i-p.co.uk, quoting your booking reference. The notice period, refund amount, and any non-refundable deposit that apply to your booking will be set out in your booking confirmation or our Cancellation and Refund Policy.
If we need to cancel your booking due to circumstances outside our control, including event cancellation, severe weather, or force majeure, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and discuss a fair resolution with you, which may include a full or partial refund of amounts paid to Z-I-P.
Event tickets are purchased separately and are not covered by our cancellation policy. You are responsible for obtaining any refund for event tickets directly from the event organiser.
5. Your responsibilities
You agree to treat the tent, equipment, and campsite with reasonable care. You are responsible for any damage caused to the tent or equipment beyond fair wear and tear during your stay. Where damage occurs, we will contact you directly to discuss the assessment and any charge before it is applied.
You must comply with the event organiser's campsite rules and any instructions from Z-I-P staff on site. We reserve the right to refuse or end service without refund where a guest's behaviour poses a risk to property, staff, or other campers.
You must be aged 18 or over to make a booking. If you are booking on behalf of others in your group, you are responsible for ensuring they are aware of and comply with these Terms and Conditions.
6. Liability
We take reasonable care to ensure that tents and equipment are properly pitched and in good condition. However, we cannot guarantee protection against extreme weather events or circumstances outside our control, and we shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from such circumstances.
We are not liable for the acts or omissions of third-party event organisers, campsites, or service providers at the event.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.
7. External booking links
Some events may require you to complete a booking through an external third-party platform. Where we direct you to an external booking link, that booking is subject to the third party's own terms and conditions. Z-I-P is not responsible for the practices or content of external booking platforms.
8. Governing law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute arising under them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version published on our website at the date of your booking will apply to that booking.
